Updates!!
So this probably the thirtieth time I've tried writing this and I'm not even sure if anybody is going to be reading whatever I post, but it's been more than a year since I posted an update and I think there are some things that I need to say. Before I begin, I'd like to make it very clear that a lot has changed since my last post and my situation has improved considerably, though there are some things that could get better.
As far as the situation with my dad is concerned, I was able to retrieve most of my personal belongings and my cat Bunny within a couple of weeks of posting my last update, and by last February we had fully reconciled. I
Emergency Hiatus
I haven't said a word about this on deviantART, but about two weeks ago I was kicked out of my apartment in retaliation for calling the police after my dad's abusive girlfriend forced herself into our apartment, harassed us, and assaulted me. Although I have a place to stay, my dad is currently holding my cats and many of my personal belongings (including my scanner) hostage right now and we are desperately trying to get those back as soon as possible. What does your username mean?
"Imperius Rex" means "Ruler of the Empire" in Latin and is the catchphrase of Namor the Submariner. Namor was the first comic book anti-hero and, along with the original Human Torch, was Marvel's first superhero. He was also Marvel's first mutant character and the first superhero shown with the ability to fly. Namor's catchphrase is sometimes misspelled as "Imperious Rex", which ironically means "Despotic Ruler" in Latin.
My previous username was "Primera-Espada-Stark", which is a reference to Coyote
Eid Mubarak (late) and Updates
I know it's a little late, but Eid Mubarak everyone! I hope your Ramadan and Eid were full of blessings. :D
I would've posted this earlier, but I got hit by a car while riding my bike on Saturday. Other than a sprained wrist, my only injuries were a few scratches and bruises. I'll have to buy new pedals for my bike, but everything should be okay. There's nothing to worry about.
